Yester & Morrow and the Y&M Tech Lab

Privacy policy

Last updated October 6, 2026

Yester & Morrow is a small company in Lapeer County, Michigan, run by Chris Kamyszek. It includes the Y&M Tech Lab, which helps small businesses with simple digital systems, and the farm app for grazing farms. This page says what we collect on this site and through the Tech Lab phone line, why, who handles it for us, and what you can ask us to do with it.

The short version

What we collect, and why

When you ask the Tech Lab for a call or a talk

The booking form sends us your name, your email, your phone number if you give it, how you'd like us to reach you, your note, your payback test answers, and where you first came from, like a card, a post or another page. We use it to get back to you about your request, and to learn which cards and posts bring people in.

When you call or text the Tech Lab line

We keep your phone number, when you called or texted, your texts, and any voicemail you leave, both the recording and a written transcript. We use them to answer you. Calls to the line ring Chris's own phone, and your texts and voicemail transcripts are passed on to it.

When you join the farm app list or the founding circle

We keep your email and anything you tell us about your farm, like its name, where it is, what you raise and a phone number. Your email also goes on the farm's mailing list at Shopify, so we can send you word about the farm app. Every email has a link to unsubscribe.

When you visit

We count visits with Umami, which uses no cookies and collects no personal information. It records the page, the site that sent you, your kind of browser and device, and your country, and it counts clicks like Book a free call. The company that hosts the site keeps standard server logs, including your IP address and browser, to keep the site running and to stop abuse, such as one visitor sending a form over and over.

In your own browser

The payback test remembers your answers, and where you first came from for 90 days, in your browser's own storage, so the test and your note carry over when you come back. The flock's passport remembers the counts it last showed you. This stays on your device, and clearing this site's data in your browser removes it.

Text messages

The Tech Lab line texts you only after you've called or texted it: one text if we miss your call, a short thank-you the first time you text, and then replies in the conversation you started. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop and HELP for help. The terms say more.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Who handles it for us

We don't sell or rent your information. These companies run parts of the site and the line for us, and see only what that work needs:

Otherwise we share information only when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Requests, messages, voicemail and sign-ups stay until you ask us to delete them, or until we no longer need them to work with you. Umami keeps visit counts for six months.

Your choices

Children

This site is for people running farms and businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
